As the last unfinished section of the Route 95 thruway from Florida to Maine, the project consists of five bridge structures, the first being a fourteen-span structure taking future northbound I-95 to the eastbound PA turnpike. The second four-span structure will link the westbound PA Turnpike to southbound I-95. Lastly, there are three single-span mainline bridges over local roads and waterways. Bridges are founded on driven piles, cast-in-place footings, columns, and large hammerhead caps. Superstructures are alternately constructed with structural steel and precast concrete bulb tees.
