Mr. Getchell began his construction career at Chicago Bridge and Iron Company, where he progressed through the ranks from Field Engineer to Project Manager. When he joined PKF-Mark III, Inc. in 1981, he assumed project management assignments for water and wastewater treatment plants and highway projects. In 1987 Mr. Getchell was appointed Vice President while maintaining project management responsibilities. In 1991 he was appointed Executive Vice President assuming increased responsibilities in corporate planning. In 1992 Mr. Getchell was appointed President, assuming increased responsibilities in all aspects of corporate planning.

Mr. Getchell’s strengths are planning, coordinating, and executing major projects having critical time schedules. He developed in-house computerized scheduling methods used in construction planning for PKF-Mark III, Inc. projects. He was 1995-1996 President of the UTCA, and is on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association.
